The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) is the city’s largest youth service organisation. Since its establishment in 1960, the HKFYG has been providing opportunities and facilities for the social, educational, cultural, emotional and physical development of young people.
The HKFYG Jockey Club Media 21 (M21) fully embraces youth. By using the Internet, social and new media, the HKFYG connects with young people on their terms and through their chosen mode of communication. M21 has been adopting innovative approaches to bring new media training and media literacy into education as well as achieving its three core missions – to nurture, to apply and to engage.
The M21 Digital Transformation Academy and the Youth Production Team gives young people opportunities to be upskills and realise their dreams through the provision of comprehensive trainings and hands-on operational experience. M21 productions are screened through local television channels, M21 Internet Radio, and a broadcast network linked up with campus TV and community channels for the public.
