Our work with young people reinforces, time and again, the true power that the online world gives them. But with great power, comes great responsibility.

India has the largest number of young people in the world. But as these young people grow up in a world that’s more connected and accessible than ever, there are a new brand of risks of which they must be made aware.

Young people have very real concerns about interacting online. In my experience working with them, we have often received questions like, ‘What should I share with people on the internet?’ or ‘Should I believe and forward everything I see online?' Through 1:1 interactions and digital literacy trainings, we help them understand how to navigate the internet safely and responsibly, so we can make a real difference in their lives.

In this day and age, students should be made to value netiquettes so as to have better control over their digital lives and create a positive online experience, for themselves and for others.

Our goal is to ensure that the youth grow into their roles as responsible digital citizens, equipped to think critically and share thoughtfully online. We Think Digital is a great leap in that direction, and we are glad to be a part of it.
